My Warlord Games British 8th Army/SAS army

This is my British 8th Army /SAS army. These were desert Fighters that fought in North Africa amongst other places. The models were mostly from Warlord Games.  The Jeep came from Rubicon models. I painted these a while back and don't remember the exact paints I used. I primed all of the models with Vallejo Desert tan primer. I then used all Vallejo acrylics and  Games Workshop  washes.  I will hear provide links to the guides that I used choosing the various colors. there aren't very many color photographs of uniforms from this period so if you just choose Olive drabs and khaki colors  you'll be fine.

The Bren gun was a common weapon for the British in WW2.

Here is an example of an SAS jeep. Seriously upgunned and ready to take the fight to Gerry.




The British desert version of the M3 Stuart.




Upgunned trucks with all unnecessary parts stripped off of them were used extensively by the SAS.
