The Hag painted with Army Painter Speed Paints

This is a Dungeons and dragons model of a hag i painted to test out Army Painter's speed paints. My painting skill is not at a professional level and it takes me quite a long time to get the desired effect from painting miniatures. even when I'm done I feel that my skill level prevents me from getting to the next level of painting. I decided to try the Army painter speed paints to see if they would help and now I won't use anything else. the Miniatures that I  have painted with the Army painter speed paint look way better than what I could do with standard acrylic paints washes and dry brushing.


 are these paints better than what someone who is really good at painting could do with acrylics? absolutely not. they are better than what I can do with acrylics however and because they are a one coat application and then you move on they've really sped up my painting I recently painted the entire deep Madness game in about 6 weeks which for me is blindingly fast. I fully recommend speed paints for anybody that just wants to get models on the table and wants them to look pretty good.

 

When I bought this model I purchased every available speed paint from the first iteration. Here is my result:
