Here are my space Hulk terminators. This project took me a year off and on to finish due to scheduling issues. Also the sheer amount of detail on these models took ages to get right. I used mostly Vallejo paints along with a few Games Workshop paints in completing this project. I started by airbrushing these models with Vallejo black primer and then used Citadel Mephiston Red to basecoat them.
I used lighter Reds to create highlights and then proceeded to follow a similar tactic with the other colors. For the effects I used a variety of techniques. For the jewels I combined the green Soul Stone paint from Citadel with Vallejo's gunmetal in a 50/50 mix. I painted the jewels white first and then painted the Soul Stone gunmetal mix over that. I think it worked out very well. For the energy weapons I used a graduated dry brushing method. I painted the blades and cables a dark color and then dry brushed lighter colors up to the light source ending in mostly White. I think it turned out okay.
Although I am only posting one set of Space Marines I did two sets so that I could have a mega game with multiple players. Next up will be my tyranids. Here are some pictures of the Space Marines in the meantime.
